BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
June 12, 1962
A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on
Tuesday, ;Tune 12, 1962, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building.
Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ripley, Ballard, Norris
and associate member Morey.
The following petitions were heard:
Ernest E. Outhet for permission to install and operate eight coin-
operated dry cleaning machines at 178 Bedford Street.
John F. Downey for permission to erect a house on Lot 53 School St.
having front entrance on Stimson Ave. that would not have sufficient front
setback and rear yard.
It,ek Corporation_ for permission to erect a temporary storage and main-
tenance shed, to be used for a period of one year, at 10 Maguire Rd.
Howard A. Smith for permission to erect an addition to the Veterinary
Hospital at 476 Bedford St. for the purpose of housing stray animals of the
town (dog pound facilities) and to have additional hospitalization and
boarding facilities.
Community Nursery School, Inc_. for permission to build an additional
room, 33' x 9', attached to present building at 2325 Mass. Ave., said room
to be used for storage.
Kenneth H. & Nancy L. No for permission to maintain non -conforming
dwelling at 9 Eldred St. and add a 12' x 12' porch to said dwelling.
At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during
which the following decisions were reached:
Ernest E. Outhet - granted
John F. Downey - denied
Itek Corp. - denied
Howard A. Smith - granted
Community Nursery School, Inc. - granted
Kenneth H. and Nancy L. Noyd - granted
All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file
under the name of each petitioner.
