HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-05-01BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS I May 1, 1962 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, April 24, 1962, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, Norris and Ripley, and associate member Hoyt,. The following petitions were heard: John F. Downey for permission to erect house on Lot 53 School Street having front entrance on Stimson Avenue, which would have in- sufficient setback and rear yard. SocorXV Mobil Oil Co. Inc. for permission to remove present structures at 269-277 Bedford Street and erect new two bay service station building on this site. Jack Crusoe for merpnission to mount a 48++ diameter Mercedes-Benz trademark neon sign to front of building at 436 Marrett Road. Richard C. Long for permission to build an addition to dwelling at 58 Paul Revere Road which would have insufficient side yard. William H. Wildes for permission to alter dwelling at 72 Winter Street into two-family house. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- ing which the following decisions were reached: John F. Downey - denied Socony Mobil Oil Co., Inc. - granted Jack Crusoe - granted Richard C. Long - granted William H.
