HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-04-24BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS IApril 24, 1962 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, April 24, 1962, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, Norris and Ripley and associate member Tucker The following petitions were heard: Wilson Farm, Inc. to`construct a greenhouse adjacent to #6 Pleasant Street. Francis E. Hudson for permission to build a 16' x 12' extension to an existing porch on a non -conforming house at 23 Baker Avenue. Richard's Lumber Co., Inc. for permission to operate a retail specialty and building material business at 394 Lowell Street. Busa Realty Trust for permission to maintain single family dwelling at 32 Lillian Road which does not have required setback. Anthony R. Cataldo for permission to erect lean-to greenhouse for display purposes at 1265 Massachusetts Avenue. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- ing which the following decisions were reached: Wilson Farm, Inc. - granted Francis E. Hudson - granted Richard's Lumber Co. - granted Busa Realty Trust - granted Anthony R. Cataldo - granted. All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file under the name of each petitioner. Ruth C. Brodhead Clerk 1 April 21�, 1962 At the close of the Lxecutive Session the subject of Donald E. Nickerson's re -appointment to the Board of Appeals was brought to the attention of the members serving that evening. Mr. Walter Ballard, acting as temporary chairman, called for a motion from the Board. Mr. Aiden L. Ripley moved that Donald E. Nickerson be made chairman, to serve as such for the next five years. The motion was seconded by Chanles H. Norris. The vote was unanimous in favor of Mr. Nickerson serving in this capacity during his new term on the Board of Appeals. Clerk, Board o Appeals
