HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-01-30BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS January 30, 1962 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, January 30, 1962, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Build- ing, Lexington. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, Emery, Norris and Ripley. The following petitions were heard: Samuel Berman for permission to convey parcel of land consisting of 4950 sq.ft., currently part of Lot 64-A on Barberry Road to property at 11 Barberry Road (Lot 66A). William P. Fitzeerald for permission to operate a garage for storage and repair of motor vehicles at 177 Bedford Street. Ann Marie Kinneen for permission to operate a secretarial service board, to be known as the Reliable Answering Service, in her home at 4 Percy Road. Paint Rock Pool Corporation for permission to use Lot 86, Part- ridge Road, Lexington, as a playground and to construct on this property a non-commercial and non-profit swimming pool with the usual appurtenances thereto. ' Rose Bagelman for permission to eliminate present first floor apart- ment to create a storage space for present drugstore located at 16-22 Massachusetts Avenue; and also to convert seven room apartment located in same building into two apartments. Arthur and Raymond DeVincent for permission to operate a roadside stand at the corner of Pleasant Street and Cambridge Concord Turnpike. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Samuel Berman - granted William P. Fitzgerald - granted Ann Marie Kinneen - granted Paint Rock Pool Corporation - granted Rose Bagelman - granted Arthur and Raymond DeVincent - denied All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file under the name of each petitioner.
