HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-09-19339 D BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS September 19, 1961 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, September 19, 1961. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Emery, Redman, Ballard, and associate member Norris. At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following petitions: Vitold Kasetta - to replace and enlarge garage at 48 Woburn St. which would ve ufficient rear yard. Hunt Estates - to maintain two free-standing signs in parking area at rear of builings numbered 1752-1768 Mass. Ave. Lexington Lumber Corp. - to maintain existing free-standing sign at 57 Bedford St.- William L. & Helen F. Hetherington - to subdivide land at 23 Robinson Rd. into two lots., one ofw which i has a structure on it, so as to convey 21,403 sq.ft. to Lot 2 on Turning Mill Rd., leaving Lot at 23 Robinson Rd. with 93/100 acres, more or less, and a frontage of 115 ft. ' Ann M. Shanahan & Mary Elizabeth Shunney - to convey parcel of land, currently part of lotat 5Z Pleasant. and consisting of 2,580 sq.ft., to property at 50 Pleasant St. Ral h J. White - to maintain garage at 81 Woburn St. with in sufficient Side yard. The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. - to maintain existing free-standing sign at 33 Bedfordt. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Vitold Kasetta - granted Hunt Estates - granted Lexington Lumber Corp. - granted Wm. & Helen F. Hetherington - granted Ann M. Shanahan & Nary Elizabeth Shunney - granted Ralph J. White - denied The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co.
