BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
September 5, 1961
The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, September 5, 1961. Present were
Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ripley and Ballard, and associate
members Hoyt and Tucker. At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared open upon
the following petitions
Winthrop W. Harrington - to subdivide lot #2 at 1894 Mass. Ave
and lot #1 at 1900 Massachusetts Ave., both of which lots have struc-
tures on them. Neither of the resulting lots would have sufficient area,
frontage or side yard.
M. J. Aruda - to erect a two-family house on parcel of land
between 1tS and 16 Curve St. with a setback of 20 ft instead of the re-
quired 30 ft.
James P. Cassini - to vary Zoning By-law of the Town of Lexington
in order to move house at 342 Bedford St. to adjoining land, which he
owns, which has no frontage on account of State taking.
Paul Usik - to build a two-car garage at 29 Pleasant St. which
would not have sufficient rear and side yards.
Alfred Antonelli - to maintain house presently under construc-
tion at 29 Pearl St. which would have a 9'1" left-hand side yard instead
of the required 10 ft.
Robert E. Doran - to build a greenhouse of used steel, 21 ft.
x 819 ft. at 150 Last St.
At the 'close of the hearings and Executive Session was held
during which the following decisions were reached:
Winthrop W. Harrington - granted
J. J. Aruda - granted
James P. Cassim - granted
Paul Usik - denied
Alfred Antonelli - granted
Robert E Doran - granted
All pertinent vaterial in regard to the above petitions is on
file in each individual folder.
