August 8, 1961
The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's
Room, Town. Office Building, on Tuesday, August 8, 1961. Present were
Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, Ripley and Redman, and
associate member Abbott. At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared open upon
the following petitions:
Douglas T. Ross - to construct a garage at 33 Dawes Rd. which
would not have SUrfielent setback.
Donald L. MacGillivray - to erect a single family dwelling on
lots 47, 4d., and 49 CINFIes. whish would not have required setback.
Anthony R. Cataldo - to build a greenhouse of used steel and
glass, 100 rt. x 30 rt. at Lexington Nursery, 1265 Mass. Ave.
Otis N. Minot - to build a garage at 22 Eliot Rd. 22 ft. x 22
ft. which would not ve sufficient side and rear yards.
George T. Sullivan - to build a single family dwelling on lots
1 and 2 and part of lot, numbered 60 Burlington St., which is in Manor
Section.
' Morris Bloombera - to maintain existing free-standing sign at
Marrett Rd. entrance or Morris Motors, 400 Waltham St.
Morris Bloomberg - to maintain existing free-standing sign at
Morris Mo ors, a ham St.
At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur-
ing which the following decisions were reached:
Douglas T. Ross - granted
Donald L. MacGillivray - granted
Anthony R. Cataldo - granted
Otis N. Minot - granted
George T. Sullivan - granted
Morris Bloomberg - granted
Morris Bloomberg - granted
All pertinent material in regard to the above petitions is on
file in each individual folder.
