HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-06-06 325 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS June 6, 1961 The Board of Appeals held a regular greeting in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, June 6, 1961. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, Ripley and Redman, and associate member Tacker. At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Ernest E. Outhet - to install and operate a coin operated dry cleaning establishment at 160 Bedford St. Ralph E. Schwartz - to install a separate kitchenette on first floor of dwelling at 16 Douglas Rd. Said quarters to be used by motherr in-law and father-in-law. C. H. McGee - to build an addition to existing building at 311 Marrett Rd. which would not have sufficient side yard or parking area. Norman C. Dahl, William E. Haible and William Osborne - to build two tennis courts on parcel of land consisting of 1-06/100 acres with access on Moreland Ave. and located between #2 Moreland Ave. and #4 Moon Hill Rd. Hancock Congregational Church - to maintain free standing sign 4'6" x 7' on Church premises at 1y12 Mass. Ave. / Dr. Sherwood Marnoy - to practice medicine in his residence at 15 Douglas Rd. John H. Millican - to construct an addition 69 ft. x 75 ft. to existing greenhouses at 93 Hancock St. James P. Cassim - to relocate house and stable presently front- ing on 341 Bedford St. to parcel of land remaining after land-taking by the State, which house and stable would have frontage on a so-called street, "Brook St.", which has not been laid out, constructed nor ac- cepted by the Town. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held durr ing which the following decisions were reached: Ernest E. Outhet - granted Ralph E. Schwartz - denied C. H. McGee - denied Norman C. Dahl et al - granted Hancock Congregational Church - granted Dr. Sherwood Marnoy - granted John H. Millicaa - granted James P.
