HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-05-02 32.E BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS May 2, 1961 The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, May 2, 1961. Present were Chairman Nickerson, and regular members Emery, Ripley, Redmond and Ballard. At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions; Mrs. Dorothy Fraser - to build an addition to a non-conforming house at IOU Pleasant St. Sun Oil Co. - to maintain existing sign at Massachusetts Ave. and Fottler Ave. which property is owned by Peter J. and Anna C. Mc- Donaugh. Texaco, Inc. - to continue use of banjo pole and sign installed at 326 Mass. Ave., Bast Lexington. Texaco, Inc. - to continue use of banjo pole and sign installed at Countryside, Inc., Lowell and Woburn Ste., Lexington. Permission to continue use of one sign granted. Mrs. Louise Finney - to subdivide parcel of land at 52 Fottler Ave into two lots, neither of which has two existing structures on it; and also to erect dwelling on proposed second lot facing on Hillcrest Ave. which would not have sufficient setback and rear yard, and maintain existing garage on lot facing on Fottler Ave. which has insufficient side yard. Anthony Griecci - to remove fill in order to regrade rear por- tion of lot at 115 Grove St. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Mrs. Dorothy Fraser - granted Sun Oil Co. - granted Texaco, Inc. - granted Texaco, Inc. - granted for one sign Mrs. Louise Finney - granted Anthony Griecci - granted All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file in each individual folder.
