The Board of Appeals held hearings on Tuesday, November 29, 1960
in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 7:30 p.m. hearings
were declared open on the following petitions:
David R. Chipman - to erect a two -car garage at 5 Whipple Rd.
which ZZ a nave insufficient setbacl and rear yard.
MIT Lincoln Laboratory - to erect a lean-to addition on the west
wall existing Lexington Field Station building at 238 Wood St.
Beatrice F. Morse - to erect a carport to non -conforming dwelling
at 1 Vifiebrook Rd. whicE would not have required setback or side yard.
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3007 - to erect an addition 24 ft.
x 24 A. to Elating n ng at 2 Hayes Eane.
Russell E. Carroll - to operate a dry cleaning business at 168
Bedford
Limon Inn - to erect one single -faced sign 914" x 914" at front
of pets ot3- errs property overlooking Route 128.
' At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during
which the following decisions were made:
David R. Chipman - granted
MIT Lincoln Laboratory - granted
Beatrice F. Morse - granted
Veterans of Foreign Wars - denied
Russell E. Carroll - granted
Lexington Inn - denied
All pertinent material relative to the above hearings is an file
in each individual folder.
