HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-08-11 241 BOARD OF APPEALS BEARINGS August 11, 1959 The Board of Appeals held hearings on Tuesday, August 11, 1959, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on the following peti- tions: Arlmont Laundry, Inc. - to operate a Dry Cleaning Plant in a proposed addition to existing building, 319 Woburn St. Robert DiNapoli - to erect a sign 2110 x 3610 of wood, painted black and white, hung on a 4 x li ten foot pole, at 36 Waltham St. Craft Cleansers Inc. - to erect two secondary signs, having a length in excess of 3/tjths of the width of the store wall, and a princi- pal sign on the building located on Edison Way, known as 1707 Massahhu- setts Avenue, by attaching the principal sign and one secondary sign to the roof of the marquee in front of a parapet proposed to be added to the building and by attaching the second secondary sign to the ceiling of the marquee. Vine Brook Realty Trust - to approve the focus of the parcel of land situated on the southeasterly side of Waltham St. and northeasterly side of the proposed extension of Worthen Rd. and also approval of the site plan, plans and building designs herewith filed all in accordance with the provisions of the Lexington Zoning By-law. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Arlmont Laundry, Inc. - denied Robert DiNapoli - denied Craft Cleansers Inc. - granted Vine Brook Realty Trust - denied.
