BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
January 27, 1959
A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on
Tuesday, January 27, 1959, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Build-
ing, on the following petitions:
Caryl Realty Trust - to erect a dwelling on Lot 6 Great Rock Road,
Lexington with a 20 ft. setback instead of the required 30 ft.
Washington Fund, Inc. - to maintain a sign on property belonging
to 509 Bedford St., Lexington, directing the public to a housing develop-
ment. Said sign is in violation of Art.IIIB of the Lexington Sign By-law.
Harry I. Zeltzer - to permit an optometric branch office to be
conducted in his residence on Lot #91 Rumford Rd., Lexington
Perce Cook - to maintain dwelling at 1140 Pleasant St. which has
insufficient side yards.
At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur-
ing which the following decisions were reached:
Caryl Realty Trust - granted
Washington Fund, Inc. - granted
Harry I. Zeltzer - denied
Perce Cook - granted
All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on
file in each individual folder.
