BOARD OF APPEALS HEAUNGS
' October 29, 1957
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on Tuesday, October 29, 1957.
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions:
Joseph Beauchesne - to alter existing single car garage to a two
car garage using concrete block and having shed roof which will not have
side yard required by Zoning By-law.
Marjorie C. 0. Williams - to operate a play -school at 9 Balfour St.
for noT_m_o_re_� awn 1��iiilcTren age 3-4, four mornings a week from 9 a.m.
to 12 noon, October through May.
First National Stores - to erect a free standing sign at Worthen Rd.

Ellen L. Sharkey'- to maintain a garage at 13 Hazel Road, Lexington.
Joseph P. Crosby - to make an addition to present non -conforming
building at 3b Hi-g=d Ave.
Mrs. Harry W. Cram - to continue to operate a pre-primary school
' for no more n c ldren.
At the close of the hearings the following conclusions were reached
during an executive session:
Joseph Beauchesne - granted
Marjorie C.L.Williams - granted, with the following conditions 1.
That there shall be a qualified assistant at all times; 2. Permit shall
expire October 29, 1958.
First National Stores - denied
Ellen L. Sharkey - granted, subject to the condition that the garage
conforms to the Building By-laws.
Joseph P. Crosby - granted
Mrs. Harry W. Cram - granted, with the following conditions: 1. There
shall be an assistant present at all times; 2. the outside play area shall
be fenced in; 3. the children shall be properly supervised at all times;
4. permit expires September 30, 1958
