HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-10-01BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS I October 1, 1957 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on October 1, 1957. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the followinZ; petitions: Carol Ingraham - to continue to operate a pre-school class for not more anc ldren at 5 Downing Rd., Kexington, four mornings a week. William P. & Iris M. Howard - to operate a nursery -kindergarten at 15 Ewell Ave. for not more U=O children, from 9 a.m, to 12 noon. Wilson Farm Inc. - to continue operation of roadside stand. Lauri A. Lindell - to alter existing building at rear of 471 Waltham St. for use as a private steam bath. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following conclusions were reached: Carol Ingraham - granted, subject to the following conditions: 1. that the operation of the pre-school class be confined to the game room in the basement and the front room on the first floor. 2. That an assis- tant shall be in attendance at all times. 3. That this permit shall ex- pire September 27, 1958. William P. and Iris M. That no cars shall be allowed to park on Pleasant St.; 4. That only vegetables, fruits and poultry products grown on the land of the petitioner that is within the Town shall be sold; 5.
