BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
I
September 17, 1957
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, Septelhber
173 1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m.
hearings were declared open upon the following petitions:
Mrs. C. S. Broussard - to continue operation of Nursery School 5
days a week for c en aged 2 to 5 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,
Nishan Haroian - to continue the operation of roadside stand located
at 353oncorwive: for the sale of flowers and produce grown on the
premises.
Paul Alibrandi - to continue operation of roadside stand at 565
LowellSt.
Thomas A. Napoli - to continue operation of existing roadside stand
for the purpose of selling only the products groan on their land. No
changes had been made and there had been no parking of automobiles on
Marrett Rd.
Nano C. Schock - tD continue operation of a playschool for children
from 3 to 5 years ofage, in her home two mornings a week from 9 to 12,
September to June.
Vivian B. Wolfe - to continue to operate a Nursery School 5 days a
week instead of 3, r`om 9-12, for not more than 10 children.
Anthony R. Cataldo - to continue the use of the building at 703 Mass.
Ave. to process, warehouse and sell fresh fruit and vegetables.
Thomas J. Willson - to subdivide lot 30 in order to add to abutting
lot 36 thereby- re uc ng lot 30 below present requirements of Lexington
Zoning By-laws.
Raymond and Emilio DeSimone - to continue the use of tool shed sub-
ject to the condition that the wilding shall not be used for residential
purposes, and that permission to use the building shall extend only until
August 14, 1958.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which
the following conclusions were reached:
Mrs. C. B. Broussard - granted, with the following conditions: 1. that
not more than 10 children shall be in attendance at any one time; 2. that
one assistant shall be employed; 3. that any outside play area must be
fenced in with a suitable fence; 4. that no portion of the basement shall
be used by the children attending the school; 5. that the children shall
be properly supervised at all times; 6 that the premises shall be kept in a
neat and orderly condition at all times; 7. that this permit shall expire

Nishan Haroian - granted, permit to expire July 1, 1958

Paul Alibrandi - granted, subject to the following conditions: 1.

that this permit shall expire Sept. 1, 1958; 2. thad there shall be no
floodlighting of premises; 3. that premises shall be kept in neat and
orderly condition, and that only products of land of owner of stand
,
within Town of Lexington shall be sold.
Thomas A. Napoli - granted
Nancy C. Schrock, granted, with the following conditions: 1. that
this permit shall expire July 1, 1958; 2. that the children shall be
properly supervised at all times, both inside and outside the building.
Vivian B. Wolfe, granted, subject to the following conditions: 1.
that if she has more than 5 students she will employ professional assist-
ance, and that the children will be supervised at all times. Expires
may 15, 1958.
Anthony R. Cataldo - granted, subject to the following conditions:
That no fruits or vegetables shall be sold at retail on the premises; that
no by-products from the use or materials used shall be stored outside the
building; that the premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition.
