HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-07-30155 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS ' July 30, 1957 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, July 30, 1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Robert J. Trebino - to use lot (rear section thereof) for the parking rue equipment; said lot adjoining his premises at 83 Spring St. which is located in R 1 zone. Joseph Monsignors - to complete interior of existing structure to form a-1�5�it, to be used as a guest house for periods of approx- imately two or three weeks at certain intervals of time. Barbara Ennis & Wilda Ward - to operate a preschool for more than tan ch at 3126 Mass. Ave. Palladino Bros. Co. - to continue to conduct a contracting and landscap s mess, luding stockpiling and sale of loam, fill, sand and gravel on a parcel of land located on Mass. Ave. starting at 201 and proceeding easterly on Mass. Ave. for a distance of 479 ft. more or less. Carmine M. Massimilla Jr. - to erect a stand on Lowell St. for the sale o nursery stock ss.milla Nurseries. E. Alden Erickson - to erect a two car garage and roof over presenT—rs`ar­p3RE_v_Mh would have fourteen and one half feet instead of fifteen feet side yard. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following conclusions were reached: Robert J. Trebino - denied Joseph Monsignors - denied Barbara Ennis & Wilda Ward - denied Palladino Bros. Co. - granted, subject to the following restric- tions: (1) this permit will expire June 20, 1958; (2) all materials shall be tracked to and from the property by way of the driveway entering onto Bair St. and any loose material dropped from the trucks on to Bow St. shall be promptly removed from the street; (3) the hours of opera- tion shall be restricted from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. six hays a week; (4) water, or a sprinkler system shall be used to control dust, especially on the driveway leading to Bow St.; (5) there shall be no expansion of the present operation; (6) only equipment regularly used in the business shall be parked or stored on the premises; (7) the premises shall at all times be kept in a neat and orderly condition; (8) all material dropped on Bow St. and Mass.
