HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-05-28 X49 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS May 28, 1957 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, May 28, 1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: John Carrier - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-Law in order to erect an addition to the rear of the existing garage at 90 Burlington St. which is 2' from the side lot line. Margaret A. Nixon - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order to maintain existing dwelling at 283 Concord Ave. which on the easterly side is 11 ft. from the lot line instead of the 15 ft. as required. Harvey W. Newggent - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order to maintain a Real state Office in the Depot Building owned by the Boston & Maine A.R. and to keep the sign now located between two posts as well as the one sign to the right of the door which is 30" x 36". Mario Pfaff - to build a garage at 6 Rowland Ave. which will be located 7'5* from the rear lot line and 6' from the side line. Exist- ing damaged garage to be demolished./ At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached. Cohn Carrier - granted Margaret A. Nixon - granted Harvey W. Newgent - granted Mario Pfaff - granted Muriel C. Stone Clerk
