HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-05-07 145 BOARD OF APPE&LS MAKINGS May 7, 1957 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, May 7, 1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Belford E. Cress - to subdivide Lot 2 located on Winter St. by adding an area or approx. 33,000 sq.ft. of said Lot 2 to Lot 3 numbered 148 Winter St. and to use new lot as a building lot; which subdivision will not comply with the Zoning Bytilaw. Dianne Estates - to make an addition to rear of existing non-con- forming dwelling at 52 Bellflower St., also add porch at right front. Dianne Estates - tl make an addition to rear of existing non-con- forming dwelling at 48 Bellflower st. Ralph W. Galen - to maintain an office for the practice of den- tistry in his nome located at 46 Barrett Rd. Virginia Coleman - to use the property at 6 Raymond St. as a board- ing house Ior more than four persons. The premises are now being used as a nursing home. Charles H. S. King - to erect a two-car garage at 11 Greenwood St which will nave a sideyard of 5 ft. instead of 10 ft. and a rear yard of 5 ft. instead of 15 ft. as required by the Zoning By-law. Phyllis A. Ackerman - to change the existing lot line between Lot 6 and Lot 7 at 97 Borth St. and 110 Adams St. respectively. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were made: Belford E. Cross - denied Dianne Estates - granted subject to the approval of the Building Inspector Dianne Estates - granted subject to the approval of the Building Inspector Ralph W. Galen -denied Virginia Coleman - denied Charles H. S. King - denied Phyllis A. Ackerman - granted Muriel C. Stone Clerk
