BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
April 9, 1957
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, April 9,
1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hear-
ings were declared open on the following petitions:
Adeline H. Cooper - to operate a nursery school five mornings a
week from y a.m. to 11 noon at 118 Burlington St.
James Donahue - to build a single family dwelling at 21 Curve St.
which will be set back 20 ft. from Curve St. instead of the 30 ft. re-
quired by the Zoning By-law, with sideyards of 9.25 ft. instead of the
required 10 ft.
George A. Mahoney - to operate a trucking and express business
(moving) at yt2( Mass. Ave. which is in an R 2 district.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were made:
Adeline H. Cooper - granted, subject to the following conditions:
(1) that an assistant will be present at all times; (2) this permit
shall expire April 9, 1958.
James Donahue - granted
George A. Mahoney - denied
