HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-03-26 139 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS March 26, 1957 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, March 26, 1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hear- ings were declared open on the following petitions: Mary E. Dacey - to continue to operate a kindergarten for 10 children', 4 and 5 years of age, five mornings a week from 9 a.m. to 11:4 a.m. at 18 Winchester Drive. Martin J. Bellinger - to continue to practice medical diagnosis and treatment at nis home, 7 Patriots Drive. Ellen L. Sharkey - to continue the use, and extend for two years beginning March 2U, 57, the premises on Lot #11, 16 Hazel Rd. as the site of microwave transmitting equipment, including specifically a long- range calibration unit. Ernest E. Outhet - to erect a single family dwelling at 59 Hard- ing Rd. which odes not conform to the Zoning By-law. Richard C. Long - to change the lot lines of Lot D numbered g Paul Revere Rd. which will also change the lot lines of #60 Paul Revere Rd. and #44 Greenwood St., to enable the side yards of Nos. 58 and 60 Paul Revere Rd. to be more in conformity with the Zoning By-laws. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Mary E. Dacey - granted, subject to the following conditions: (1) that not more than 10 children shall be in attendance at any one time; (2) this permit shall expire Oct. 18, 1957. Martin J. Bellinger - granted, subject to the following conditions: no regular office hours shall be maintained; (2) no sign shall be used except that permitted in Sec. 6(d) of the Lexington Zoning By-law; (3) this permit shall expire when Dr. Bellinger ceases to occupy the premises; (4) that only occasional patients and emergency cases shall be treated. Ellen L. Sharkey - granted, subject to the following conditions: that upon the expiration of this permit on March 20, 1959 the entire structure, including the fence, shall be removed and the premises re- stored as nearly as practicable to their original condition.
