HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-02-19 1:5 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS February 19, 1957 A meeting of the Board of Appeals,was held on Tuesday, February 19, 1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town 'ffice Building. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following petitions: Ernest DeVincent - to continue the operation of roadside stand located at the corner of Pleasant St. and Concord Turnpike. John L Warner - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order to construct an addition to existing dwelling on Lot 66 at 21 Normandy Rd. which addition will have a side yard of 13 ft. on the right hand side instead of the required 15 ft. Alice R. Simpson - to operate a Boarding House for the aged on the premises known as 6 Raymond St. Capacity not to exceed 18 patients, ambulatory persons only. Associates Realty Trust - to erect an all metal ground sign 33" x 13'4" high, 2'b" above ground on lot at the n.w. corner of Rte. 128 and Marrett Rd. (Rte.2A) for accessory use of business en same property. Sign to be parallel to and 140' back frau Rte. 128 according to plot plan submitted. Sign to be illuminated by (4) 300 watt overhead re- flectors. James Catalano - to continue the operation of retail business of selling flowers and plans grown on the premises at 643 Waltham St. as per Permit Order. Chrles H. King - to maintain house under construction at 11 Greenwood St. with a side yard of 8'6" instead of the required 10' . At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Ernest DeVincent - granted John L. Warner - granted Alice R.
