BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
January 22, 195?
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, January
22, 1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m.
hearings were declared open on the following petitions:
Richard H. Soulez Inc. - to permit a place of business of a builder,
contractor and carpenter, on a parcel of land on Meller Rd., Lexington;
and to erect a building on siad land without connecting to a sanitary
sewer, provided said land passes a percolation test and approval by the
Board of Health.
Ernest E. MacPhee - to subdivide lot of land located at 33 Vallle
Ave. into two lots, and to maintain existing house on Lot B which lot
has sufficient frontage but insufficient area as required by the Zoning
By-law.
Dor 0. Coburn'- to subdivide lot 6 at 950 Waltham St. into two
lots marks and B, lot A not having sufficient frontage as required
by the Zoning By-law; and to maintain existing dwelling thereon,
Wilda M. Ward - to continue operation of a nursery group at 233
East St.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were made:
Richard H. Soule, Inc. - denied
Ernest E. MacPhee - granted, subject to the condition that the
garage with insufficient sideyard on Lot B will be removed within a
reasonable period, not to exceed six months from date.
Dorothy C. Coburn - denied
Wilda M. Ward - granted, subject to the following conditions:
(1) that the premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition at
all times; (2) that not more than ten children shall be accommodated
at one time; (3) this permit shall expire Oct. 25, 1957.
