BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
August 21, 1956
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, August
21, 1956 at 8:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building.
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following peti-
tions:
Normand R. Cartier - to operate a language center at his resi-
dence, hi Somerset Rd.
Jewish Community Center Nursery School - to operate a Nursery
School at 1500 Mass. Ave. 5 days a week from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, for
a period of one year from date, with the understanding that a maximum
of 10 children shall be accommodated and that they shall be super-
vised by one teacher and an assistant at all times.
Grey Nuns Charities,` Inc. - to operate an Elementary School in
the frame house at 13 Pelham Rd.
Techbuilt. Inc. - to erect a model vacation cottage without
utilities or permanent foundation at 3 Turning Mill Rd.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were reached:
Normand R. Cartier - denied
Jewish Community Center Nursery School - granted
Grey Nuns Charities, Inc. - granted, subject to the regulations
and requirements of the Dept. of Public Safety of the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.
Techbuilt, Inc. - granted, the permit to expire August 21, 1957.
