BQAffiD OF APPEALS HELHCNGS
July 31, 1956
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, July 24,
1956 at 8:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At
8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions:
Domenic F. Catanese - to maintain the house now being con-
strac at co Terrace, in accordance with plan submitted.
Robert B. Newman - to erect a two -car garage at 17 Moon Hill
Rd.
Nancy C. Schock - to operate a play school for children from 3
to 5 years of age in her home at 8 Marrett Rd. two mornings a week
from 9 to 12, September to June.
Patrick F. Lynch - to construct a basement and one-story addi-
tion'11 x 161 at the rear of his existing garage and at the side of
his existing house at 231 Bedford St.
Paul Marashio - to subdivide Lot 7 numbered 659 Lowell St., the
proposed new 7onot having the required frontage and area.
Michael A. Pellicci - to establish an automobile dealership to
sell, trade.,buya vertise the sale of automobiles at a location
described as 915A Waltham St.
Joseph C. Burley - to subdivide Lot A located at 2173 Mass. Ave.
in order- o ma e-sepaeparate lots for existing non -conforming dwellings.
Nalcolm J. Eastwood - to erect a dwelling at 5 Bates Rd. which
does not have TU77Mge required under the zoning by-law.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were reached:
Domenic F. Catanese - granted
Robert B. Newman - granted
Nancy C. Schock - granted, subject to the following conditions:
(1) that this permit shall expire July 1, 1957; (2) that the children
shall be properly supervised at all times, both inside and outside
Patrick F. Lynch, granted, subject to the following conditions:
that the building would have masonry block foundation which would ex-
tend under the rear of existing house and would be cement coated to
disguise the blocks; that the addition would be constructed with a
pitched roof and would be shingled; that the walls and ceiling of the
present garage shall be wire lathed and plastered.
