HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956-07-10 iii BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS July 10, 1956 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, July 10, 1956 at 8:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Malcolm J. EastWeed - to erect a single family dwelling at #5 Bates ted. which does not have the frontage required under the Zoning By-law. Albert Gardner - to construct a single family dwelling at 342 Waltham St. which would have a setback of 20 feet instead of 30 as re- quired by the Zoning By-law. The house would have a side yard of 7-1/2 ft. on the left hand side and 9 feet on the right, Claude A. Clarke - to build a carport 4 feet from the existing house at 75 Cedar St. ana having no side yard. Leon S. Kinsman - to maintain existing house at 11 Grand View Ave with a side yard of 6'9" instead of the required 10 ft. Walter G. Black - to subdivide Lot "C" located on Blossom St. into two building lots marked "D" and "E" as shown on the plan submitted, both lots having the required area, but being short of the required frontage by 5.85 ft. John F. MacNeil - to erect a building on his property at Depot Sq. substantially in accordance with the plans submitted. Tofa W. Khiralla - to subdivide lot numbered 52 North Hancock St. into two lots and to erect a single family dwelling On Lot "B". At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Malcolm J. Eastwood - postponed Albert Gardner - granted ClAude A Clarke - denied Leon S. Kinsman - granted Walter G. Black - granted John F. MacNeil - granted Tofa W. Khiralla - denied Muriel C. Stone Clerk I
