HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956-06-19 107 BOARD or APPEALS HEARINGS June 19, 1956 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, June 19, 1956 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Frederic J. Peterson - to erect a garage attached to his exist- ing dwelling at eZ Prospect Hill Rd. which will have a side yard of 8 feet instead of 10 feet as required by the Zoning By-las. Josiah Willard Hayden Recreation Centre, Inc. - to erect a build- ing to be used ror recreational purposes on the so-called Aldrich property, located on Lincoln St. Bernard Goodman - to erect and maintain a free standing sign size 6' x 4' at 62 !lass. Ave. Custom Colonials,� Inc. - to subdivide lot 43 located at 20 Bill- crest St. adding Yy rt. to adjoining lot 42 and to erect a single house on said lot 42, the remaining 25 ft. of lot 43 to be added to adjasent lot. Joh C. Hurled - to subdivide lot A located at 2173 glass. Ave. in order to make separate lots for the existing non-conforming dwellings, which would not conform to the Zoning By-law. Sherman. H. Starr and Enid AL Starr - to construct a swimming pool at 62 HILL St. which will not have the aide yard required under the Ranting Ar-law. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Frederick J. Peterson - granted Josiah Willard Harden Recreation Centre, Inc. - granted Bernard Goodman - denied Custom Colonials, Inc. - granted Joseph C. Hurley - denied Sherman H. Starr and Enid M. Starr - denied Muriel C. Stone, Clerk 1
