HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956-06-12 105 BOARD OF APPEALS REARMS June 12, 1956 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, June 12, 1956 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: William L. Potter - to use lot 110F Fair Oaks Terrace as a build- ing lot autnoagn it will not have the required frontage; it being un- derstood that the house being built will be located substantially in accordance with the plan submitted. Jan Layansar - to build a greenhouse addition which will set back only 29 feet from the street, and will continue the line of the present greenhouse at 30 Moreland Ave. George Mahoney - to create a twb-family home at 9 Pleasant St. by remodeling the present 8-room dwelling. Marion C. Fillmore - to build a porch i51 x 151 at the rear of present dwelling at 45y Marrett Rd. which would not have the proper side yard but would continue the 7 ft. side yard of the existing house. Charles H. Marriy - to erect a single family dwelling on lot 97 located on Robbins Ave. which does not have the side yard and setback required. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: William L. Potter - granted Jan Leyenaar - granted George Mahoney - denied Marion C. Fillmore - granted Charles H. Murry - denied Mariel C. Stone Clerk
