A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, April 3,
1956 in the Select en's Room, Town Office building. At 8:00 p.m.
hearings were declared open upon the following petitions:
John F. McNeil - to erect a building of second class construc-
tion on lend a3jac'ent to the Boston & Maine R.R. at Depot Sq., zoned
as a C 2 district, which will not have the required side yard and
rear yards, also to permit a 7 ft. canopy to be attached to the
building which will project over the adjoining R 1 lot.
Kenneth N. Ernst - to convert a single family dwelling at #2
Moreland Ave. o a two-family dwelling.
Peter J. & Anna C. KeDona - to subdivide lot numbered 301 Massa-
ohusets Ave. so that etdivision line is not less than two and a half
feet from the rear of the building now on said lot.
Eduard Fey - to remove a house from 1981 Mass. Ave. and install
it at o u St. with the understanding that the house will set
back at least 20 feet from the street, and that permission can be ob-
tained from the Board of Selectmen and the Police Dept. to move the
house, and that he receive a Board of Health Permit.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur-
ing which the following decisions were reached:
John F. McNeil - denied
Kenneth N. Ernst - denied
Peter J. and Anna C. McDonagh - granted, subject to the condition
that no building or structure shall be erected or maintained on the
parcel to be subdivided and conveyed closer than ten tett to said
building now on said lot.
Edward Ferry - granted
