BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
March 13, 1956
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, March 13,
1956 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hear-
ings were declared open upon the following petitions:
First National Stores Inc. - to erect and maintain one double-
faced sign at PbU Bedford St. as shown on plan submitted, which will not
conform to the Lexington Building By-law
Newgent Associates - to erect a -single family dwelling, known as
a "National Home" on Lot b, numbered 12 Larchmont Lane, which does not
conform to the Building By-law; also to permit this same house to be
erected on other lots in Lexington where the architecture fits in.
Lloyd H. Miller - to continue the operation of roadside stand at
973 Concord Turnpike. —
Warren T. Bryant - to erect an addition to existing dwelling at
61 Laconia St. which would have sideyards of 11 ft. and 12 ft. instead of
15 ft. as required by the Zoning By-law.
' At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur-
ing which the following decisions were reached:
First National Stores, Inc. - denied
Newgent Associates - denied
Lloyd H. Miller - granted subject to the following conditions:
(1) that the premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition; (2)
that there shall be no flood lighting of the premises; (3) that no park-
ing of cars shall be permitted on the Concord Turnpie; (4) that this
permit shall expire April 1, 1957; (5) that only products of the land of
the owner that is within the Town of Lexington shall be sold on the prem-
ises.
