HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956-02-161 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS February 16, 1956 The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 1956, At 8:00 p.m. hearings were open as follows: Techbuilt, Inc. - to_,.e, � ily dwelling on Lot #24, 7 Turning 'Mll Rd. as a temporary construction and sales office. Antonio Busa - to maintain dwelling at 94 Bow St. which now has a setback from the street of 20 ft. instead of the 30 ft. required by the Zoning By-law. Joseph Monsi ore - to remove gravel and fill from Lot B 7 located on Laconia St. This material would be removed from a high knoll at the rear of the lot and used in connection with the construction of Dane and Foster Rds., in the Colonial Development. James Catalano - to continue the operation of retail business of selling plants a Viers growing on the premises at 643 Waltham St. Philip N. Garfield - to erect a porch 12' x i4,61, attached to dwelling at 10 Balfour St. which would be 13 ft. from the side line in- stead of 15 ft. as required by the Zoning By-law. Joseph E. Casey - to maintain existing dwelling at 30 Valley Rd. which is set Uack 26 at the nearest point from Valley Rd. instead of the 30 ft. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- ing which th'e following decisions were made: Techbuilt, Inc. - granted, subject to the f9llowing conditions: (1) that the use shall cease Feb. 15, 1957; (2) that a sign not in excess of 12 sq.ft. may be erected on the premises; (3) that a temporary permit by the Bd. of Health shall be issued before the premises are used. Antonio Buss. - granted Joseph Monsignore - denied James Catalano - granted, subject to the following conditions: (1) automobiles shall be parked on the premises and not on the highway; (2) permit expires Jan. 5, 1957.
