I BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
December 20, 1955
A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the
Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, December 20, 1955
At 8.00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
petitions
David S Terry - to maintain the existing dwelling at 17 Fair-
land St. with a set back as shown on the plot plan submitted of 25 6
ft instead of the 30 ft as required by the Lexington Zoning By-law
Ernest E Outhet - to erect a single family dwelling at 99 Glea-
son Rd
Cecil R. Hobbs - to erect a greenhouse, tool shed and boiler
room at 322 Lincoln St.
Palladino Bros. Co - to continue to conduct a contracting and
landscaping business, including stockpiling and sale of loam, fill,
sand and gravel on a parcel of land located on Mass Ave , starting at
201 and proceeding easterly on Mass. Ave. for a distance of 479 ft. more
or less, with access to and from Bow St., all said land being located in
a C 2 general business district
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur-
inawwhich the following decisions were reached
David S. Terry - granted
Ernest E. Outhet - granted, subject to the condition that the
dwelling shall not be nearer Gleason Rd. than either of the existing
dwellings on adjoining lots; also that this permit supersedes the permit
granted by the Board of Ernest E Outhet on the same property on Novem-
ber 15, 1955
Cecil R. Hobbs - granted
Palladino Bros. Co. - granted, subject to the following conditions
(1) this permit will expire on Dec. 1, 1956; (2) all materials shall be
trucked to and from the property by way of the driveway entering on to
Bow St and any loose material dropped from the trucks on to Bow St. shall
be promptly removed from the street; (3) the hours of operation shall be
restricted from 7 a.m. to 6 p m. six days a week; (4) water, or a sprink-
ler system shall be used to control dust, especially on the driveway
leading to Bow St ; (5) there shall be no expansion of the present oper-
ttion; (6) only equipment regularly used in the business shall be parked
or stored on the premises; (7) the premises shall at all times be kept
in a neat and orderly condition
