HomeMy WebLinkAbout1955-12-0677 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS ' December 6, 1955 A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, December 6, 1955. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared upon on the following petitions: Dr. Edwin Peterson, Jr. - to maintain an office for the prac- tice ofMiT—ap—ody an ois ry at #11 Harrington Rd., Lexington. Guy Caminita - to erect a two -car garage at 93 Grove St. which will not have the set back and side yard required under the Zoning By-law. H. S. Swartz - to use the so-called Telephone building at 27 Muzzey St. as editorial offices for compiling the editorial and ad- vertising material of New England Construction Magazine. Harold Michelson - to erect an addition at 1788 Mass. Ave.,to be used as part or present store, as shown on plan submitted. Adams Press, Inc. - to use and occupy the building located at 7 Oakland or general printing, binding and publishing business purposes. Harvey W. Newgent - to erect an attached two -car garage at #21 Hastings Rd Which will be located not less than 25 ft. from Hastings Rd. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- ing which the following decision were reached: Dr. Edwin Peterson, Jr. granted Guy Caminita - this decision was held up pending further in- formation. H. S. Swartz - granted, subject to the following conditions: (1) that not more than 15 persons shall be employed in the premises; (2) that provisions be made for off-street parking for all employees cars; (3) this permit is subject to purchase of the building from the N.E.Tel. & Tel. Co. Harold Michelson - denied Adams Press, Inc. - granted, so long as the real estate is owned by the Adams Press, Inc., and the Adams Press, Inc. is controlled directly or beneficially by Alan G. Adams and/or Rebecca W. Adams. 78 Harvey W. Newgent - granted. Muriel C. Stone, Clerk
