BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
May 19, 1955
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, May 19, 1955
At 8:00 p m. hearings were declared open upon the following
hearings:
Moore Realty Trust - to subdivide that portion of a parcel of land
located on Essex St. shown on plan submitted, into five lots.
John Paratore - to build a 3-car garage of wood and concrete con-
struction at I1 Berwick Rd.
Vine Valley Realty Corp. - to erect a single family dwelling on
Lot #8 numbered 2lb Grant St Extension, which does not have the required
frontage and area.
Reynold Currier - to finish the attic and put on a shed dormer at
24 Preston Rd.
Grey Nuns Charities, Inc - to vary Sec. 13 of the Lexington
Plumbing By-law so as to allow the house sewer and drain at #10 Pelham
Ill
Rd. to be continued in the building with a rise of at least 1/8" per ft
in place of the minimum rise of 1/0 per ft as specified, with the recomn
mendation and approval of the Acting Building and Plumbing Inspectors.
Joseph J. Cleary - to erect a dog boarding kennel located at the
end of Beacon St. on a parcel of land containing approximately 3 6 acres,
which does not conform to the Lexington Zoning By-law
Robert P. Tassinari - to erect a dinette addition to rear of exist-
ing dwelling at #d2 Dexter Rd
Charles H. Murray'- to erect a single family dwelling on Lot G,
148 School St. which would have a set back from the street at its nearest
point of 25 ft. instead of 30 ft as required.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following conclusions were reached.
Moore Realty Trust - granted
John Paratore - granted
Vine Valley Realty Corp. - denied
Reynold Currier - granted
Grey Nuns Charities, Inc. - granted
