HomeMy WebLinkAbout1955-03-10BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS March 10, 1955 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, March 10, 1955 At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Angelo Bu��sa__ - to build and operate a roadside stand at 137 Grant St. substant3aliy in accordance with the plot plan submitted. Norman C. Fletcher - to erect an addition to the existing dwell- ing at 36 Moon H Rd—.which will come within 5 ft. of the lot line. E. L. Sharke - to continue the use and extend for two years be- ginning March 20, 55, the premises on Lot #11, 16 Hazel Rd., Lexington as the site;of microwave transmitting equipment, including specifically a long-range calibration unit as presently installed. At.tr e close of the hearings an exe cutive session was held during which the following dedcisions were reached: Angelo Busa - granted, subject to the following conditions: '(1) that one sign may be erected, not larger than 3' x 61; (2) that there shall be no flood lighting of the premises; (3) that sufficient area for automobiles shall be provided, so that cars will not be required to park on Grant St.; (u) that only products of the land of the owner of the stand that is within the Town shall be sold; (5) that such permit shall expire March 10, 1956. Norman C. Fletcher - Granted E. L. Sharkey - granted, subject to the condition that on the ex- piration of this permit on Mar. 20, 1957 the entire structure, and fence shall be removed and the premises restored as nearly as practicable to their original condition:.
