HomeMy WebLinkAbout1954-11-181 7'. BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS 1 November 18, 1954 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, November 18, 1954. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: George A. Knox Jr. and Joseph P. Spinelli et al to subdivide Lot 9 located on Shade Street, into two separate parcels. Shell Oil Co. and Everett LaFrance to enlarge the service station and lnbritorium at 1095 Mass. Ave. in accordance with the plans submitted. Viano Properties Inc. - to erect a one-story showroom addition to the ex s ing building at Ibbb Mass. Ave., Joseph F. McCormick - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot 156 numbered ona d St. which would have a side yard less than the ten feet required. F. C. Nelson - to erect a carport addition to existing dwelling at 8 er me . which would have a 5 foot side yard instead of the ' 12 feet required. Prince A. Newell - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot #30 locate at Maple 9t. subject tothe following conditions: that the house be set back from Maple St. approximately 200 ft. and that construc- tion of the dwelling be started not later than June 1, 1955. David W. Walsh Jr. - to erect a small attorney's sign on the prem- ises at ld3 Woburn Robert Wildes - to erect a single family dwelling on Lots 1 and 2 located on Sullivan St. as shown on plan of Park Heights #5, Lexington, Mass. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- ing which the following decisions were reached: George A. Knox Jr. and Joseph P. Spinelli - denied Shell Oil Co. and Everett LaFrance - denied Viano Properties, Inc - granted Joseph F. McCormick - denied F. C. Nelson - denied Prince A. Newell - granted David W. Walsh Jr. — denied Robert W. Wildes - granted Muriel C. Stone, Clerk
