HomeMy WebLinkAbout1954-08-26 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS August 26, 1954 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, August 26, 1954 At 8:00 p m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions Anne M Elden - to erect a single family dwelling at 330 Con- cord Ave which will be set back 27.52 from the street instead of the required 30 ft James R. Bright - to erect an addition to the existing house at 56 Robbins Rd. which will not have the set back from the street as re- quired by the Zoning By-law. John E. Hossfield - to subdivide parcel of land located at 128 Reed St. into two parcels, designated as Lots "A" and "B" on plot plan accompanying petition, and to maintain on each of the subdivided lots the existing dwellings. Robert F. Freda - to erect a two-car garage attached to the existing house at 165 Lincoln St. which would be set back 7'1" from the northeasterly lot line. Edward A. Bannon - to erect a porch attached to existing dwell- ing at 56 Harding Rd substantially in accordance with the plot plan submitted. Mrs C. S. Broussard - to operate a Nursery School 5 days a week for children aged 2 to 5 years, from 8 a.m. to 4 30 p.m. at 21 Butler Ave Madeleine C Harrison - to continue operation of Kindergarten for not more than ten children, five days a week, during the school year, at 29 North Street. Paul Alibrandi - to erect and operate a roadside stand at 565 Lowell St. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- ing which the following decisions were reached: Anne M. Elden - Granted James R. Bright - Granted John E Hossfield - Granted Robert F. Freda - Granted Edward A. Bannon - Granted Mrs. C S. Broussard - Granted-subject to conditions as set forth in Permit Order G.. Madeleine C. Harrison - Granted-subject to the conditions as set forth in the Permit Order Paul Alibrandi - Granted-subject to the following conditions: 1. That this permit shall expire September 1, 1955; 2 That there shall be no floodlighting of the premises; 3. That the premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition, and that only the products of the land of the owner of the stand that is within the Town of Lexington shall be sold. Muriel C.
