BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
August 12, 1954
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, August 12, 1954.
At 8 00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following pe-
titions
James W. Quinn & Brothers - to operate a sand and gravel pit
within the area shown on parcel #2 on plan entitled "Plan of Land in
Lexington, Mass., dated April 1954.
Carmine Massimilla - to subdivide Lot 0, 118 Lowell St. into
two parcels, in accordance with plan submitted dated June 1954 by Fred
A Joyce, Surveyor, and to erect a single family dwelling substantially
as shown on the plan.
Morris G. McKay - to subdivide Lot 24 numbered 26 Fletcher Ave.
Marion F. Hannaford - to subdivide parcel of land at 172
Middleby Rd. into two lots, marked "A" and "B", and to erect a single
family dwelling on lot "B" .
John H. Millican - to erect an addition 30' x 75' to #2 green-
house at ,'3 Hancock St.
Sarah B. Currier - to erect a single family dwelling at #20
Preston Rd.
Wallace E. Howell - to change the existing lot line between lots
15-A and lb A, 35 and 37 Moon Hill Rd.
J. Edward McManus - to erect a single family dwelling at #3
Laurel St. which will have a rear yard of 7'8" from the adjoining lot
which is held by the Town of Lexington.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur-
ing which the following decisions were reached:
James W. Quinn & Brothers - Granted-for a period of five years,
subject to conditions and restrictions
Carmine Massimilla - Granted
Morris G. McKay - Granted
Marion F. Hannaford - Granted-provided that all conditions as to
set back and side yards of the Zoning By-law are complied with.
John H. Millican - Granted-provided no signs shall be erected at
the driveway entrance
Sarah B Currier - Denied
Wallace E Howell - Granted
J. Edward McManus - Granted
