BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
June 24, 1954
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, in the Town Office Building, Lexington, on June 24, 1954.
At 8.00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following pe-
titions:
William A. Murray - to subdivide Lot "A" 98 Laconia St. into two
lots, each with a frontage of approx. 83 ft and area of approx. 18,500 sq.ft.
and to erect a single family dwelling on lot marked "A.2f'
Robert L. Lyon - to continue the use of the house numbered 265 Bed-
ford St. and 9 No.Hancock St as a two-family dwelling
Rose Ampolo - to permit the erection of single family dwellings on
Lots B to 1 inclusive, located on Graham Rd. which would not meet the re-
quirements of the Lexington Zoning By-law as amended.
Palladino Bros. Co. - to conduct a contracting and landscaping busi-
ness, including stockpiling and sale of loam, fill, sand and gravel on a
parcel of land located on Mass. Ave. starting at 201 and proceeding easterly
on Mass. Ave. for a distance of 479 ft., more or less, with access to and from
Bow St. all of said land being located in a C 2 general business district.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were reached.
William A. Murray - Granted
Robert L. Lyon - Granted
Rose Ampolo - Denied
Palladino Bros. Co - Granted with restrictions and conditions
Muriel C. Stone
