HomeMy WebLinkAbout1954-06-10297 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARSNGS JUNE 105 1954 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, in the Town Office Building, Lexington, on June 10, 1954. Chair- man Locke, Messrs. Lynah, Ripley, Redman and Ballard were present. The clerk was also present. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following pe- titions: Ruth V. Ready - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot No.17, numbered10 Jean Rd., substantially in accordance with the plot plan submitted. Prince A. Hewell - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot 30 located at 96 Maple which lot consisted of 4.2/10 acres with a front- age of 78.2. Joseph P. Belotti - to change the line dividing lots 35 and 36 at 8-10 Cam ridge -Concord Highway. Alfred P. Tropeano - to erect and maintain physicians, dentists and other professional offices at 114 Waltham St., located on the lot substan- tially in accordance with the plot plan submitted, and with a metal fire escape in the rear of the building instead of a second inside stairway from the second floor; and subject to the condition that the use of the offices shall be limited solely to physicians, dentists, and other professions. James W. Quinn - to remove the existing mounds from that portion of the gravel pit .'�ocate3 off Woburn St. designated at Parcel #1 on the plot plan submitted. Clarence P. Shannon - to remove soil, loam, sand and gravel from par- cel of land situated on orth St. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Ruth V. Ready - Granted Prince A. Newell - Denied Joseph P. Belotti - Granted Alfred P. Tropeano - Granted James W. Quinn - Granted Clarence P. Shannon - Denied - with permission given to remove only the present stockpile of excavated sand and gravel, subject to conditions and limitations. I Muriel C. Stone Clerk
