BOARD OF APPEAL S HEARINGS
APRIL 29, 1954
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on April 29, 1954
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following peti-
tions:
Maria V. Chiesa - to subdivide parcel of land at 42 Adams St. in
accordance with the plot plan submitted.
Richard C. Boyer - to erect a building of masonry construction for
the purpose of making ornamental ironwork at 334 Woburn St.
K. Mahtesian - to maintain the existing sign on the front of the build-
ing at 315 Woburn St.
Arlmont Laundry Inc - to maintain the existing sign on the roof at
the front of the building at 319 Woburn St
A. Sorenson - to erect a single family dwelling located at 7-A Re-
vere St.
Walter LaDow - to maintain the dwelling at 65 Williams Rd. with a
side yard of 0,711.
Alan C. Wagner - to erect a single family dwelling on Lots 45, 46,
47, and 40 in Block y, numbered 24 Blake Rd., which does not have the re-
quired frontage.
Anthony R. Cataldo - to continue to use the existing building at 703
Mass. Ave. for the processing, warehousing and selling of fresh fruits and
vegetables
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were reached:
Maria V. Chiesa - Granted
Richard C. Boyer - Denied
K. Mahtesian - Granted - subject to the condition that this sign
shall_not be illuminatedi and also subject to the further condition that the

Arlmont Laundry Inc. - Granted - subject to the condition that this
sign shall not be illuminated and that the existing sign on the rear roof of
the building be removed
A Sorenson - Granted - providing said building complies with the
Lexington Building By-laws and is substantially in accordance with the plot
plan submitted.
Walter LaDow - Granted
Alan C Wagner - Granted

Anthony R. Cataldo - Granted - subject to the following conditions:
that the permit shall be for one year expiring March 10, 1955; that no fruits
or vegetables shall be sold at retail on the premises; that no by-products
from the use or materials used shall be stored outside the building; that the
premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition.
