HomeMy WebLinkAbout1954-03-25287 BOARD OF APPEALS HEAMGS ' March 25, 1954 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on March 25, 1954. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following peti- tions: Warren E. Russell'- to use a portion of the building located at 1505 Mass. Ave., known as a Russell House, for the purpose of conducting a Real Estate and Insurance business. John F. O'Connor - to use the premises located in a C 1 district at 271 Lincoln St. for a purpose of storing and selling petroleum products and inflammable fluids, lubricating, washing and tuning of motor vehicles, selling and installation of tires, batteries and other automobile accessories. Mary Pestana - to erect a toolhouse not larger than 10' x 8' and located at the rear of lot 89 on Theresa Ave., but not closer than five feet from the side line and the rear line. William L. Hench - to erect a single family dwelling on lot 10 numbered 6 CastleRT.-,substantially in accordance with the plot plan sub- mitted. Ralph B. Witthus - to maintain the dwelling at 503 Lowell St. in accordance with e pi-ot pi-oplan submitted. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Warren E. Russell - Denied John F. O'Connor - Denied Mary Pestana - Granted William L Hench - Granted Ralph B Witthus - Granted Muriel C. Stone Clerk
