BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
December 17, 1953
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on December 17, 1953.
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
petitions:
Shell Oil Co. and Robert C. Haufler - to use the land and to
erect buildings located on the southwesterly side of Bedford St. be-
tween the Railroad right of way and the North Lexington Brook, for the
purpose of keeping, storing and selling petroleum products and in-
flammable fluids; lubricating, washing and tuning of motor vehicles;
and selling and servicing motor vehicles tires, batteries, and other
automobile accessories usually sold at filling stations.
Dow Pickering - to subdivide Lot #2, 9 Summer St., creating a
new lot consisting of 16,333 sq.ft. with a frontage of 110.20 on
Summer St.
William Conde - to subdivide Lot #3, 11 Summer St., creating a
new lot consisting of 17,968 sq.ft. with a frontage of 70.74 ft.
' B & G Realty Trust - to subdivide Lot #1, 7 Summer St., creating
a new lot consis ing o 14,246 sq.ft. with frontage on Summer and
Lowell Sts.
At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur-
ing which the following decisions were reached:
Shell Oil Co. and Robert C. Haufler - Denied
Dow Pickering - Granted
William Conde - Granted
B&G Realty Trust - Granted
Muriel C. Stone
