HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-11-19BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS I November 19, 1953 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on November 19, 1953• At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: N:E.Tel. & Tel. Co. - to erect a Dial Telephone Exchange build- ing ot firstc ss cons ruction on the premises at #73 Waltham St., substantially in accordance with the plot plan submitted. DeScenza'Associates - to attach a chimney to the outside of the building at #20 HomesteaZSt. William Mara - to erect a single family dwelling and garage at 51 Williams is Mrs. J. R. Carpenter - to do portrait photography in her home at 53 Colony Rd. Mass. Inst. of Technology - to maintain temporary tower at the Field Station #2111 WoodSt. Peter J. Ronchetti - to erect a two -car garage at 193 Blossom St. which will have a side yard of approx. 7 ft. and be set back approx. 100 ft. from Blossom St. Peter Penta - to erect a single family dwelling on Lots 95 and 96 Albermar—Se�- At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- ing which the following decisions were reached: N.E.Tel. & Tel. Co. - Granted DeScenza Associates - Granted William Mara - Granted Mrs. J. R. Carpenter - Granted subject to the condition that no signs shall be erected. Mass. Inst. of Technology - Granted subject to the condition that the tower shall be dismantled and removed not later than November 1,1956. Peter J. Ronchetti - Granted Peter Penta - Granted Muriel C.
