BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
August 20, 1953
A meeting of the Board of Appeals waw held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on August 20, 1953.
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
Petitions:
James J. Dolan - to maintain the dwelling and garage as present-
ly lova ad on the lot at 17 Hagâșilton rd.
Mrs. C. S. Broussard - to operate a nursery school 5 days a
week for children a o 5 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 21 Butler
Ave., Lexington.
Raymond and Emilio DeSimone - to continue the use of the tool
shed on land locatedon private r ght of way off Webb St.
Alfred Buss, - to erect a single car garage and screened -in
porch a Lowe St.
Mary E. Dace - to operate a kindergarten for children or pre-
school age at 5 Bedford St. subject to the following conditions: 1,
that not more than 10 children shall be in attendance at any one time;

2. that this Permit shall expire August 20, 1954.
Edwin M. Poor - to erect a garage and breezeway, using the
foundatTc_n_ w a was constructed in 1947.00 Ivan St.)
Following the hearings an Executive Sesainn was held during
which the following decisions were reached:
James J. Dolan - granted
Mrs. C. S. Broussard -'subject to the following conditions: 1.
that not more than 10 children shall be in attendance at any one time;
2. that one assistant shall be employed; 3. that any outside play
area mast be fenced in with a suitable fence; 4. that no portion of
the basement shall be used by the children attending the school; 5.
that the children shall be property supervised at all times; 6. that
the premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition at all tiros;
7. that the Permit shall expire August 20, 1954.
Raymond and Emilio DeSimone - granted subject to the following
conditions: 1. that the building shall not be used for residential
purposes; 2. the use of the building shall extend only until August
w, 1954.
