A meeting of the Board of Appeals was beld in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on August 13, 1953
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
petitions:
Donald K. Irwin - to erect a single family dwelling and
gauge at overs 07.
Edward S. Folsom - to erect a garage at 7 Denver St. which will
be located om the rear lot line.
Michael Fume - to erect a single car garage at 15 Bowman St.
James J. Burdick - to erect a single car garage at 44 Bow St.
Harold J. Bjorn - to erect a ā€˛Gunnison" type home on lot 47
113-Llcreat St.
John R. Gillis - to erect a single family dwelling at 112 Plea-
sant St. in acco ance with plans submitted.
' Robert J. Rowsell - to maintain a garage for the storage and
repair of motor ve c es and to operate a tow truck service and do
general welding at premises located at rear of 97 Massachusetts Ave.
Nicholas A Bouras - to erect a single family dwelling at 39
Winthrop Rd. in acco nce with the plot plan submitted.
the hearings an Executive Session was held
during which the following decisions were reached:
Donald K. Irwin - granted
Edward S. Folsom - granted
Michael Emma - granted subject to the condition that the garage
shall be of fireproof constructinn with walls of 12 inch concrete
block and roof of 4 inch reinforced concrete construction.
James J. Burdick - granted
Harold J. Bjorn - granted
John F. Gillis - granted subject to the condition that the roof
rafters shall be 12" on center, and that the walls and ceiling of the
heater room shall be wire lath and plaster construction, with metal
clad fire door.
Robert J. Rowsell - granted subject to the following conditions:
1. That the use shall cease on August 15, 1954. 2. That the premises
shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition at all times, satisfac-
tory to the Building Inspector.
