HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-06-18 233 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS June 18, 1953 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on June 25, 1953. Messrs. Lynah, Ripley, Ballard, Duffy and Houdlette were present. The clerk was also present. Mr. Lynah took the Chair. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: John F. O'Connor - to use the premises located at 271 Lincoln St. for the purpose of storing and selling Petroleum products and inflammable fluids, lubricating, washing and tuning of motor vehicles, selling and installation of tires, batteries and other automobile accessories. Thomas T. Tuck - to remove and sell the excess loam now piled up at the rear of the properties located at 247, 251, 253, and 255 East St. Lily Jackson - to erect one "Tourist" sign 28 x 16 attached to the house at 1yyU Mass. Ave. Theresa C. McDonnell - to relocate the building on the premises at 22 Vine St. Frank Caprio - to erect a two-car garage on lot 179 Rindge Ave. Mass. Mnstitute of Technology - to erect a U.H.F. Antenna Tower at the Lexington Field Station 238 Wood St. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: John F. O'Connor - denied Thomas T. Tuck - denied Lily Jackson - granted Theresa C. McDonnell - granted Frank Caprin - granted Mass. Inst. of Technology - granted subject to the condition that the tower shall be removed not later than July 1, 1956. Muriel C. Stone, Clerk 1
