HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-05-08 229 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS May 8, 1953 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on May 8, 1953. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Joseph YOas - to erect an accessory building (henhouse) at 21 Rockville Ave. James Catalano - to erect a sign 7'15" x 21" on the roof at 643 Waltham St. as per plan submitted, such permission to run coinci- dental with the permit allowing him to operate a retail greenhouse business an Waltham St. Emile Saulnier - to erect a single family dwelling and garage on Lot H, #lb Henderson Rd. in accordance with plot plan submitted. Donald K. Irwin - to erect a single family dwelling and garage at 202 Bedford St. Louise F. Sexton - To subdivide Lot 56, 9-13 Hayes Lane, con- taining two existing dwellings, into two separate lots each with a 111 frontage of 42.50 ft. and an area of 5,460 sq.ft., and a common right of way 5 ft. wide and depth of 63 ft. Mass. Institute of Technology - to erect a corner reflector as per drawings Nos. SX590 and SX,99 to be mounted on roof of Balloon House at 238 Wood St. Following the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Joseph intim - Denied James Catalano - granted. Emile Saulnier - granted Donald K. Irwin - denied Louise F. Sexton - granted subject to the condition that in the event that either one of the houses on these two lots were burned down, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of, that no new structures will be permitted to be erected on these lots without permission from the Board of Appeals.
