HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-11-171 January 17, 1952 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Buildingk on January 17, 1952• Chairman Locke, Messrs. Lynah, Ripley, Redman and Ballard were present. The clerk was also present. At 8:10 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the petition as follows: James J. Carrig for permission to erect a temporary real estate office at the corner of Concord Avenue and Pleasant Street. Peter P. Brusie for permission to erect a utility house 61 x 16, at#3 9 LowellSt. as shown on the plot plan submitted. .. Chester.C. and Roger M. Duval for permission to operate a sheet metal shop at #3 Bow St. Joseph G. Howland - for permission to erect a twocar garage and breezeway on #1 W mood Rd., which would have a set back less than that required by the Lexington Zoning By-law. Gail W. Smith - permission to reconvert three buildings located at ' #170 Wood St., one into a four -family apartment; one into a two-family apartment, and one into a single-family apartment. Following the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: James J. Carrig - granted subject to the condition that the permit shall expire one year from date. Peter P. Brusie - granted, submect to the condition that the per- mitted use shall expire one year from date. Chester C. and Roger M. Duval - granted subject to the following conditions: 1. That cars of employees shall be parked off the highway; 2. That no material shall be stored or fabricated outside the building; 3. That in the use of the premises the petitioner agrees to limit the noise to that which is normal, customary and incidental to the occupancy; G. That this use shall continue only so long as the business is operated by Chester C. Duval and Roger M. Duval; 5. That the premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition at all times.
