October 23, 1952
The Lexington Board of Appeals held public hearings on October 23,
1952 on the following petitions:
Lee W.Simonds - to erect a second class building at 417 Waltham
St. fore purpose of maintaining an Automobile Salesroom and Service
Department, and for selling and servicing new and used automobiles; sell-
ing accessories, parts, tires and tubes.
William H. Ballard - to erect a single car garage attached to exist-
ing duelling at 7 Hast gs Rd.
Carlson Construction Corp. - to erect a building at 903 Waltham St.
to be used as a contractor's office and storage building.
Wilson Farm - to continue the operation of the roadside stand adja-
cent to asant St.
Johnson S. Armstrong - to erect a single family dwelling on a parcel
of land own as Lo B, ocated at the rear of 152 Woburn St.
' Frederic S. Johnson - to erect a building of second class construc-
tion at 33 Bedfo—MM7. 71th an open area of 10,000 sq.ft. without a fire
wall.
At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held and the
following decisions reached:
Lee W. Simonds - denied
William. H. Ballard - granted
Carlson Construction Corp - denied
Wilson Farm - granted with the following conditions: 1. The premises
shall at all times be kept in a neat and orderly condition; 2. No cars
shall be allowed to park on Pleasant St.; 3. No flood lights shall be
installed; 4. That only vegetables, fruits and poultry products grown on
the land of the petitioner that is within the Town shall be sold; 5. This
Permit shall expire one year from date.
Johnson S. Armstrong - granted with the following conditions: that
a survey of the lot line on the westerly side of the prop rty marked Lot A
be made, so that the driveway to Lot B shall be entirely upon the land of
the owner and that the side yard and rear yard requirements of the Lexington
Zoning By -Law be observed.
