The Lexington Board of Appeals held public hearings on September 25,
1952 om the following petitions:
Harold I. Mitchell - to erect a vestibule in front of the house at
19 Woodcliffer.
James W. Wilson - to erect a garage and breezeway attached to exist-
ing house -a Revere St.
Roland H. Hersom - To erect a single family dwelling on Lots #407
and 406 Carvi a ve.
William P. Rice - to erect a single family dwelling on Lots no.
333 34, and 35 .n B ock 20 Bertwell Rd., to be set back 25 feet from Bert -
well Rd. with side yards and rear yard not less than those required by the
Lexington Zoning By-law.
Nancy H. Martin - to operate a play group at 1 Moon Hill Road, for
not more M -F -IT c i dren between the ages of 2 and 4 years, 3 days a
week, from 9:30 a.m. to ll:30 a.m.. ,
' At the close of the hearings the Board met in Executive Session and
the following decisions were made:
Harold I. Mitchell - granted
James W. Wilson - granted
Roland H. Hersom - granted
William P. Rice - granted
Nancy H. Martin - granted with the following provisions: 1. That a
door closer be attached to the door to the heater room, so that the door
would be closed at all times that the play group was present; 2. That the
exterior door on to the terrace open outward; 3. That an enclosed play
yard outside the building shall be provided for the use of the children;
4. That the use shall cease at the close of the public school year in June
1953; 5• That the children be adequately supervised at all times.
